Whether you’ve completely changed your life and are super happy with the progress you’ve made; or even if you’ve just made a few small changes; one way or other you’re different.
And you need to acknowledge this! If you continue to think you’re the same person, you’ll continue to behave like that person. Or even if you can change your behaviour for a while, if you still believe you’re the same as you were, you’ll almost certainly slip back in to old ways at some point or other and undo all your good work.
So, the big question is: who are you now?
Your challenge for this lesson is to redefine yourself; to reflect upon the best bits of your old self that you’ve kept and developed, and the other bits you’ve determined needed changing and have begun to change. To help with this, try answering the following questions as best you can – which we’ve compiled into a handy downloadable activity sheet:
- When you identified your strengths earlier in the program, what did you learn about how you’re already using these to be the best version of you?
- Have you also found new and better ways to use your strengths to create an even better life?
- What about ways you’re now using your strengths to address specific challenges you were facing?
- And are there any aspects of your ‘old life’ that you’ve now given up, stopped, or eliminated because they weren’t helping you in any way?
- To conclude this exercise, then, in three words how would you summarise the new you?
You really have come so far, Super Squad. And I’m incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Jump into the Members Facebook Page this week to share your new goals, and redefinitions of the new you!
