Let’s face it, when you’re hungry and you go to the pantry and fridge find temptation…? Well, it’s either going to make you blow the fast or feel annoyed as you try to resist. The best avoidance tactic is not to buy bad foods.
Rule number one: if other members of the family really insist on junk, buy the things you don’t like.
In our homes, the family can have prawn crackers as a treat because we don’t eat them but if Twisties are on those shelves on a fast day. That’s a different story.
So, to stop us from feeling like we need to go without, we always make sure we are well-prepared and well-stocked. Having healthy foods at the ready is a huge advantage to succeeding.
