Think again. You are still logging in after three months. And that’s more than an achievement. That’s seriously #winning.

Focus On The Wins!
In modern society, it’s common for people to focus on what they should be achieving, rather than what they’ve actually achieved. In fact, many people put far too much pressure on themselves to ‘get there fast’ – whether that be an actual destination or a personal journey, like this one.
So, today, we’re holding up a stop-sign. And a big smiley face.
We want you to banish the negative thought patterns you tend to follow and replace them with positive, ‘winning’ thoughts instead, as illustrated in the table below. Remember, weight loss is a mental challenge more than anything else.
| Negative, usual stuff | Positive, awesome stuff |
| I should have lost more weight by now. I’m not trying hard enough/not good enough/hopeless/weak. | I’ve lost weight! In fact, I am [ x ] kilos lighter than 3 months ago. I’m going to go back 3 months in my head and imagine how it would feel to step on the scales back then and see the number I can see now. Wow! |
| My friend/other people have lost more weight than me. What’s wrong with me? Am I destined to be fat, is that it? Is it my metabolism? Genetics? Will power? | Comparison is no longer a part of my thought process. In fact, be gone – you nasty trouble maker! Some people have lost more than me, some have lost less. Who cares? I’m still winning – at my own pace. |
| I didn’t fast properly for a while there and I know I should be nailing this by now. Why aren’t I nailing this? Why? Maybe I should just give up. | I have successfully fasted some of the time, otherwise I wouldn’t still be here. So what, if I haven’t been perfect the whole time? |
| People aren’t noticing enough. Why aren’t they saying something? I can tell from my clothes and the scales say I’m losing kilos. Sad sigh. | They will. It’s a lovely, inevitable fact that one day soon, people will be asking… ‘Have you lost weight?’ I love thinking about that. Happy sigh! |
| It takes too long and I don’t know if I could be bothered anymore. Maybe I’m alright like this. Who cares anyway? | Look. How. Far. I’ve. Come. I SO believe in myself because I have already stuck to this for 3 months – well, mostly. I love myself enough to continue to stick this out and get to my ‘Big Why’. I know I will do it because I’m still here, reading this blog. |
Feeling better yet?
Good. It’s all about that mindset, as Dr. Happy keeps telling us, and you should be so proud that you are three months in and reading the blogs, watching the videos and learning more each week. We are proud of you. Honestly, we are! Because every person who loses weight on SuperFastDiet becomes another hero unto themselves and that is worth celebrating as a community.
Really, you’re #winning
You’ve achieved so much more than you think, because you’re persevering at a critical time in your journey – three months in. Believing in yourself and acknowledging that achievement may well be something you look back on at the end of your journey as the moment you truly won this battle.
Perhaps even, the turning point on your way to the finish line where you’ll be rewarded with that big, wonderous ‘Why’.
